The first game concept wasn't bad, but it ended too quickly - that's what made it trash. This type of game should've been a 3/4 hours ish type of game to build up after the sacrifice. Side note: The Lady is ridiculous. I can understand wanting to achieve your dreams, but what actually have you done to get them besides signing a contract and making a ritual in which the other person provided the dead bodies - she should have been responsible for that at least or maybe at some point. I think that also shows the lack of back story, character construction of the protagonist. How did she come to make a contract, how did they meet, what made her go through this route instead of the conventional way, it's giving weak effort as personality and weak protagonist built. It would be really interesting seeing her actually be famous, live it (not suddenly back track) and experience serious paranormal activities AND a massive change of character - the real Black Within. Seeing demons, her personality changing, paranoia, voices and demons portraying as other's people thought's to deceive her, her clutching desperately to the love, attention, worship, of her fans, but being so mentally F*ed up to the point of sacrificing one of her fans for relief, to then finding out the real deal for the person who give her the contract was a replacement or a moment of peace from all the torment he got from the deal despite the fame, and that should either have to die or propose the same deal to someone eventually (because she needs to keep the contract for a while) to have "peace" as well. And maybe, picking up from what the dev made, her seeing herself famous but not living it, she could have throughout the game moments of out of body experience, but someone else is actually taking control of her body momentarily and then pushing her back in, making her feel very ill. That would make justice to the name of the game because it involves a complete blackness, not just spiritual, but rotting of the soul and morals and mental boundaries. I think this would be an interesting take on it or at least more complete in terms of narrative, and obviously the developer would have to be creative with the jump scares and also make sure to insert events that shows how deteriorated she's getting and contrast it with the love, fame she always wanted versus the behind the scenes.
