I really like this developers' weird unhinged horror games but It's just come to my attention that he's currently fighting cancer (he started developing games after he got diagnosed). Yeah, when something that impactful is so present in a developer's life then it naturally becomes part of the games they create. I very recently found out that another dev I loved (Ravee) died of blood cancer a few months ago. He created the excellent EXsynchronos trilogy and I realize now that one of his last games (Our Disgusting Fate) was clearly about his fight with cancer too.

I really like this game, the creative, unsettling imagery. I think the chainsaw in one of the rooms is a reference to another RPG Maker game called Mad Father. It ahares the family, the doll aspect and strongly hints at the Escaped ending. Also on an unrelated note: there seems to be a black cancer awareness ribbon on the pink wallpaper at 36:25 . You ever look at a game and just know the creator is a specific flavor of horny? Honestly though, the game isn't that bad, I just wish they made more use of the family and let us get to know them more. Like maybe some puzzles revolving around them or even just a simple fetch quest for greta or the twins to get one of the keys.

This game has so many weirdly funny bits, all the dolls that look the same, the weird proportions, the sounds, mr bob's dialogue when hes trying to act like the clown from It, alesa's dead and its all your fault, the shower scene with Greta, an assured shower scene no matter which path you play, jack being called jerk off by me and then coincidentally turning out to act like a jerk off Alot of weird design choices that made me smile and burst out laughing

Actually cutting a tongue is pretty deadly: no way to stop the blood. You don't even have to cut it completely off.

Okay, I'm aiming to be constructive -because there's a lot wrong here, but I can tell the developer is actually trying, and they're mostly just inexperienced. For a horror storyline, it's not necessary to shoehorn in a childhood experience linked directly to the antagonist. In fact, I daresay it's detrimental if not handled VERY intricately and with good cause to do so. Getting the heebee-jeebees from a creepy guy, who you immediately run away from without consequence, does not constitute reoccurring PTSD spanning two decades. For themes of bodily horror/disfigurement, losing your tongue in circumstances that do not require you to speak/taste at ALL in order to survive? You could have left that part out entirely and it would have had no impact whatsoever. It's only ever referenced twice, and doesn't hamper the player in any way shape or form. Mr. Bob, the main antagonist, doesn't have any presence in the world beyond the few brief encounters with Alissa. Nothing bears any semblance of him being involved or responsible for anything present in the environment. He has no hobbies, interests, skills, background, history... He's literally a scarecrow Boogeyman who has only ever given Alissa the creeps, once for about ten seconds, and disappears for two decades until she stumbles into this manor/house/building that some how, some way, happens to involve him -despite having not existing for twenty years. That's just a few points, but seriously DON'T let that discourage you. Creating something that falls flat provides your next project with the advantage of not falling prey to the same mistakes.

This is really well done on the whole, but I just can't get over the mc's body shape. The faces are fine, even pretty good, but the body is just not right. And not in the way that fits a horror game

Hi! The boxes in the main hall are part of a box-sliding puzzle that I edited out of the gameplay (the puzzle is pretty easy, but the solution takes quite long to execute as you slide all the boxes around). Figured it was best just to leave that part out of the playthrough.
