So naïve 18 year old me decides I want to go to Sacred Heart seminary in Detroit. I was firmly persuaded to choose another option. I want to SM in Southern Indiana. Ha ha, she's hilarious and right on the money too! When she looked at her at the time on her phone, and then did the motion to herself to wrap it up I thought I would die laughing. She's so funny. I appreciate her good work all of these years. The first I ever heard of her was those little, white cassette tapes and the talk "Contraception, why not," or something like that. First heard of Dr. Smith in her presentation the Theology of the Body, and she’s only got better since. She’s not the only one to expose this terrible dilemma in the Church, with the late Fr. Benedict Groeschel being one of the best, with his description of the historical background, going back to the early 50’s. Pope Paul IV said that “the smoke of Satan has entered the sanctuary”. We need to pray for our clergy under the direction of the Holy Spirit because as mere mortals we can accomplish nothing. Otherwise, is the war in Ukraine the pending chastisement?

It's a terrible thing now not to know the Priest that you go to Confession with. In my Diocese a Priest was Ordained by Our Bishop a Priest who had actually been thrown out of Homosexual Bars in Rome . Now I don't want to Judge the Man as personally I have never met Him . But surely with His past behavior He should never have been ordained a Priest. I know that people can change but their are Limits. Is He fit to Be a Priest like Melkesidek of Old. I was ordained to the Catholic priesthood December 23, 1964. Blaise Pascal said, "Le coeur a ses raison que la raison ne connait point." I was trained in a conservative seminary where I received a good intellectual training. When I was asked to define God in three words, I was at a loss as to how to answer the question. The answer is, of course, God is love. It has taken me years to gain some appreciation of what "God is love," means. In the short time I have left, I hope I will make progress. Re homosexuality: From December 2008 to December 2022 I have lobbied every bishop or church leader to whom I have some access to consider the impact toxic chemicals in the environment has had on children in the womb with regard to same sex attraction. God did not disturb His distinction of the sexes by creating homosexuality. Much better explanation, one well founded in science, is that toxic chemicals in the environment have had access to the child in the womb with detrimental interference in the child's development in the critical stage of sexual differentiation. All my efforts to alert church leaders to this possibility have met with stoney silence. What say you?
