so so so beyond proud of you, i may be tearing up a little bit. i discovered you in december of 2019 and have been obsessed ever since. not to be a sappy ass queen, but in august, something really traumatic happened in my life and my mental health went to its rock bottom. in short, i was in a catatonic depressive episode that lasted for six(ish) months. part of catatonia is (temporary) mutism. so not being able to talk, especially when i felt so low, was one of the hardest things for me. i turned to your channel for comfort because you’ve always felt like a big sister to me. even if it was just for a few seconds, you gave me hope that things would be better. with medicine (thank god), therapy, and support systems (like your channel), i’ve made it to the other side and have been able to leave the house for the past few months. i don’t say this for sympathy at all, i just hope you know that your presence on the internet impacts so much more than just the fashion world.
