Just want to throw this out there, I know somewhat how this feels. I was in a long distance thing with a girl from Wales for two years, and had my share of setbacks as well. Seemed like every time I started getting close to being able to see her, Murphy's Law kicked in. Unfortunately for us, it didn't work out in the end and we couldn't do it anymore. I'm glad you're going to be able to go see him, and I hope you two have an amazing time. Always remember why you're with them, and that it will all be worth it in the end, no matter what hurdles you face on the way there. Best of luck to the both of you.

I'm in a long distance relationship myself, but she's the love of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. They can be difficult at times but it takes two of the Same kind of people who care about each other and can see past the distance. It's very unique in a way because even though you're so far apart it allows for more time to get to know the person better, and it makes the time spent together more special and it allows for a stronger and a more unique chemistry and a special kind of trust to build. Don't listen to any of the haters because all that matters is what's good for the two of you, and how y'all feel about each other. I wish you the best dude.
