He's a antagonist but he's not the main antagonist after all he is the leader of the reaper faction which would make it possible for him to be a new NPC to talk with. After all who wants to who wants to burn the seas but the fact that he's the head of a PVP faction he might take a different route than what he had planned originally by gaining influence bringing more to his side until everyone follows him allowing him to crush the pirate lord In a way he is basically the Blackbeard of the Sea of Thieves

I would love to see outpost raids. Destroy an outpost while representing flameheart, there will be new Ai ships that are like skeleton ships but they are actually sovereigns and they can bucket. There will also be a call to all pirates seeking aid that can be accepted at the quest table. Likely a discovery tab or something like that. They can then dive to try and protect the outpost. If you destroy all the buildings you win and get various things like supplies, high end loot, and other raid voyage type things. It’s like the end of legend of the veil but as a player activated raid voyage. There would also be a signal flare above the outpost so other players can see it’s in danger. Once destroyed by flameheart forces that outpost is no longer operable in that server and the skeleton in the cage gets uncaged and you can give it your loot for reaper rep. (This was just on the spot wishes in sure rare can come up with lots of great ideas too) Edit: once an outpost is destroyed it could also have a big reaper mark on the map so people know they can’t sell there unless they sell to reaper

Having him as an NPC at Reapers Hideout makes sense to me. But I feel like he would also be in a Tall Tale! Reapers is HIS Faction made by his son.

Having Flameheart as an interactive NPC makes as much sense as having Ramsey as an interactive NPC; He's ever-present in the game world, but only accessible if you're a Pirate Legend. I think Flameheart would work the same way. He would be down in the bowels of the Reaper's Hideout and only accessible to those who put the work in.

I'm just hoping that if the reaper's hideout gets a renovation like golden sands it ends up mainly shipwrecks like the remains of guardians of fortune to make it similar to Flameheart's bastion from the Heart of Fire novel and not be all stone like Port Merrik.

I think personally, flameheart should be an npc in reapers hideout giving us voyages for reapers. While he plans his great plan to take the seas

Yes and the voyage should be like collect 5 emissary flags. The voyage should come with you when u hop servers and only be failed when u sink.

@@raddlysnakengl I don’t agree not only do many players not run emissary flags at all but also that would just be too repetitive due to the commendations to get flags already , a new voyage type or something that’s more consistent item / reward wise would be much better in my opinion

This comment is copypasta’d straight from 2021. Emporium updates are the exact same as they’ve always been. 2024, however, has some of the biggest content updates this game has ever seen. Back in my day, new weapons were literally unheard of. A Man o’ War ship was a pipe dream some nerd dreamt up in a forum post. Stealth ANYTHING straight up didn’t exist, let alone a focus on it. All of that is coming this year. So either you’re new to the game and have no clue what you’re talking about, or you’ve played before and managed to have no clue what you’re talking about, or you’re a curmudgeon that needs to move on because you have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. Rare is finally delivering and you’re bitching about it? Gtfo here, my guy. 👌

What no one is talking about is how the order is looking to bring back there champion pendragon better return and at the end flameheart using the new buring blade and pendragon removes the enslaving effect from the Excalibur sword :)

I'm always baffled at how little content Rare actually puts out. A massive company backed by a GIANT company drip feeds us content every 12+ weeks.. It's so ridiculous.. I love the game, but for years it feels like a "skeleton crew" has been handling the game.. The only thing they deliver on is Emporium updates, which I am fine with them skipping if they would just give us constant content!!!

I need to say this. I was on a video call from my brother, I asked him to open Sea of Thieves to see if it updated. While looking at the new season 12 menu, I swore I saw the "treasure" from A Pirate's Life" Tall Tales. However, when I got back from my vacation in New Hampshire, and booted up Sea of Thieves, it wasn't there. Since I didn't see it in person, nor did I ask my bro to take a screenshot, I cannot confirm what I saw. But I swear, I saw what I saw!

I believe what you saw is the PS5 launch main menu which came to everyone for the first few weeks of Season 12 where Jack's treasure was indeed there, alongside items from The Legend Of Monkey Island, Shores Of Gold, etc. It then got updated to a Season 12 themed screen!

Unfortunately they’re probably not gonna add tall tales in my opinion while yes insiders don’t know much but I don’t think flameheart will get tall tales for awhile

I am probably grasping at straws but perhaps when Flameheart comes back, however Rarer decides to do it, they'll finally add the voyage to the Reaper's faction. If you go to the hideout, to after the bridge, there's a rock to the right which has a paper and that one I'm pretty sure talks about some "early draft for the reaper's grave voyages". On top of that, the Reapers got their own faction on the voyage table which doesn't make sense considering they don't have voyages, unless they plan to add something.

Reaper's Grave voyages were limited time mercenary voyages in late 2019 unfortunately.

This was a great hope, but man i think you have way to much faith in rare nowadays. I expect the minimum and they sometimes reach my expectations so im happy. Im coming to terms that the original SoT team has moved on to other things, maybe its everwild maybe its a different company, im not sure. But i havnt felt any passion from the team in 2 years now and i think the game is starting to feel that.

Nah, they're ALWAYS at these events, every year, without fail. This includes 2022 and they did a preview event that year.

Lets also note its the MICROSOFT games showcase, not the Rare showcase. This is like Rare's papa pulling them in to make the entire brand look good. unless what rare has to bring would be worse than nothing, Microsoft is going to twist their arm to put SOMETHING to bring in that sweet sweet consumer base

@@GhostAdmiral those were separated though. Both were also at 2019, which is the same year as the shores of gold tall tales. So like I’ve said we’ve only gotten tall tales every two years.
