Really useful info. Another really helpful thing to get is a WA for a rangechecker, that shows the sweet spot of where to stand for weaving, the dead zone and the melee range.I use a WA called sheepys hunter range classic

Data Mining On DISCROVERY says : Raptor Strike will be on a 3s cooldown --> Meaning you can Max Weaving with 2 raptors. + There's the new spell Flanking Strikes --> To add DPS to that

For Max Melee weaving, how come you don't start with auto shot? If your aimed shot macro is something like /cast !auto shot /cast aimed shot, the auto shot will not delay the aimed shot cast, so you get off an additional auto in the same window of time, an auto that can proc improved aspect of the hawk, as well as trinkets, which would help you get off your ranged attacks faster and go in for the melee weaving... what am i missing?

Do you have always have to restart your autoshot after the melee or is there a macro that mantains your autoshot while you are weaving

I picked up Ashkandi and regularly weave......sadly I’m still stuck with rhok since we’ve (no pun intended) gone since bwl launch with only 1 Xbow.... and no aq40 gun....and just got our first aq20 xbow lol. Anyway....with rhok I generally net around the same dps as other similarly geared hunters.....about 50 dps higher if I get good rng with raptor crits....can’t wait for a slower ranged weap.....also....I should probably start usin Zanza speed pots heh.i just love all things melee hunter. I also swing nightfall for my guild, and I also regularly dps as melee spellpower with dual wield ancient hakkari manslayers. You can check the vids on my channel if ya want. Easily do 500+ dps as melee spellpower, with just a couple elixirs and minimal wbuffs.

A Problem that I have with max weaving is, that its hard to have 9% hit for youre melee weapon.

@@lostmindedmusicthe fact that you have a ton of free hit thats only for ranged attacks makes it less optimal to go for melee hitcap 3 from scope and 2 from enchants

im have a mw set with overall 14% hit ~9% melee hit

14% hit is INSANE overkill your be better off running with more crit and ap even if it leaves you below melee hitcap hit any hit past cap is completely useless unless your a dual wield class
