Wow! Spending the night in a cave and restoring a fireplace to create a cozy space in the middle of nature was truly an amazing experience. Your actions not only show your skills but also your passion for nature. Looking forward to seeing more creative projects from you in the future!

What always cracks me up is that every bush crafter, survivalist has to cook a meal. To prove what? That they can cook? It’s not like they went hunting or scavenging for the food, if they had, that would be impressive. They brought it from home! More build, less cooking!

The sign above the door is in Cyrillic script and so was the writing on the map. I’d say the cave was originally a prospect, made and used by hard rock miners and the map was either a local one or depicted the stopes of a mine. I liked the cuckoo clock painted on the wall!

Naa , a good dose of the shits , severe stomach pain and projectile vomiting are all part of the experience, as well as loosing a bit of body fat with the extreme fever and the delirium that has you staggering about the bush for days . All in all a great bit of camping 😮
