I've been on MRLs running with destination dispatch but I've never seen one running on hydraulic elevators. Still quite nice though.

I was in an office building in Atlanta many years ago that used Schindler Miconic 10 to serve seven floors. Those were traction I believe and not hydro.

Overkill is right and it could be argued whether you even get an efficiency increase at all. Makes me wonder if the building owner did something that you should never, ever do, and make a decision based entirely on an image they wanted to portray.

These should have been Otis Series M2 conventional pushbuttons for a hydraulic elevator. Up/down buttons on the outside and floor buttons on the inside.
