This is very special. The right song, the right singer, the right accompaniment, a good video, and perfect phrasing. I could watch this a hundred times.

Saw this performed in Seattle in 1997. It (and Holly Cole's album featuring it) were a fresh addition to my personal "greatest hits soundtrack." Decades later, I still circle back. It is pretty much perfect.

The cd of this back in the 90s as my go to for auditioning loudspeakers. It’s an incredible recording and you really have to hear it on a good system.

My Thoughts and Prayers for all living beings in our Heartlands surviving the wrath of the storms sweeping across our nation. Will “And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” Haruki Murakami

A good part of my adult life, this cover got me through very dark times, ever since I bought that CD in 1993 just a few years after my divorce it's always been there to take my hand and lead me towards those sun shinny days. What a splendid voice

First saw this in the 90’s in TV. Not my genre of music at all but instantly knew it was fantastic. One of the best covers ever of a song!
