दक्षिण की राजनीति एक बार फिर से दिलचस्प होने वाली है, जे जयलिलता के निधन के बाद वजूद की लड़ाई लड़ रही AIADMK में फिर से जान आने वाली है. तमिलनाडु की राजनीति में पिछले कुछ समय से जो ठहराव आ गया था, जानकार कह रहे हैं कि क्या वो ठहराव अब नई धार बनकर सामने आएगा. लोकसभा चुनावों में तमिलनाडु में AIADMK एक भी सीट नहीं जीत पाई. पिछले 2 लोकसभा चुनाव और विधानसभा चुनावों में स्टालिन की DMK एकतरफा चुनाव जीती. क्यों जीती, क्योंकि विपक्ष में फूट थी, AIADMK में दो गुट बन चुके थे, बीजेपी का जमीनी जनाधार नहीं था, अन्नामलाई के आने के बाद अब बीजेपी पहले से मजबूत हुई है, लेकिन इतनी मजबूत नहीं हुई की सरकार बनाने की सोच सके, विपक्ष के कमजोर होने की वजह से स्टालिन अजेय बने हुए हैं. लेकिन अब तमिलनाडु की राजनीति नई अंगडाई लेने जा रही है, तमिलनाडु की राजनीति में जिनका सिक्का चलता था, जयललिता की सबसे करीबी रही वी शशिकला ने पॉलिटक्स में दोबारा एंट्री का ऐलान कर दिया है.
