Yeah Disney gives you the script and they must approve all the questions beforehand. Jessi did amazing. Even though sh held back the off the rail question. her personality shone through.

@@lullaby508 Maybe they do that for international interviews or for the projects released under their own studio but they definitely don't give a script or approve questions beforehand for their Marvel press junkets (which are the only ones I usually watch). Her script was from her show runners (who she referred to as making her ask serious/hard questions before her last question about whether Emma had future plans to come to Korea) and sticking to it was due to the time constraint. I think the way those interviews work is the Disney staff would simply prevent something they don't approve of from airing, which they don't often do considering how many youtubers at Marvel press junkets get to ask inappropriate questions and still post their interviews.

It’s a bit upsetting that the interview was short and that Jessi didn’t have the time to show her charm, but this interview is important to show that Jessi’s show has come this far and I’m hopeful for more longer interviews with international celebrities. This video really shows how “koreanized” jessi has become! Even tho she’s from the US, the small talk is really more Korean style eg same age, where you’re from, you’re so pretty... and Jessi saying “right right” is like the 네 네 sounds koreans are used to using when listening 😂 Turn it into an english interview format so that’s why it felt a lil awkward. Altho having the interview so early via zoom call and asking “easy” questions could also be why! As always Jessi’s personality shines through and she looked radiant smiling and asking questions 😀
