The biggest difference in Clark is and this goes way back before high school. She put in the work extra extra work. She practiced dribble drills for hours a day growing up. Everyday for hours. Straight A student and a great supporting family. That’s why she is beloved.

Aja Wilson is should be happy that she was named MPV before the year started because Kate Clark should’ve won both MVP and in the year because the WNBA had any brains, MVP means most valuable player of the year, and that was definitely Caitlin Clark was out of doubt so Aaja Wilson should be glad she got it before the game even started sounds kind of fixed to me

Everyone forgets that Caitlin is a point guard A'ja is a center. In Caitlin's rookie season she scored the most points by a point guard in WNBA history. Caitlin averaged 19.2 pounts per game with 8.4 assists. A'jas rookie season she scored just over 20 points with 1.8 assists. The comparison is not evev close.

Correct. Different positions have different opportunities. Point guards get more assists and 3pts (I think), centers and forwards get more rebounds and 2pts. The PER(EFF) is supposed to even that out, but it still weighs PPG and RPG heavily. Caitlin ranked 5th in EFF, so hopefully, Smith, Porter, and the Kelley's can improve her mid-range efficiency and make her a major challenger in that stat.

I can’t imagine preordaining an MVP. That is just wrong and all players should be able to compete for the trophy. A’ja, Caitlin, Mitchell, Boston, Stewart, and on and on.

I would argue with anyone that Clark was the mvp last season. Tell me another player that was more valuable to thier team or the league? Aja is a great player can't deny that, but by definition Clark is the mvp!!!
