The person who established this ‘barbershop’ platform for next generation rappers is Joe Flizzow. He is basically like a godfather in Malaysian Rap music. He promotes and develops Malaysian Rap that focuses more in terms of Flow, Style, and modernised rap music. Meanwhile, there is another person who is also like a godfather in Malaysian Rap scene. He is known as Malique and he developed Malaysian Rap that focuses more in terms of Malay Literature, Style, and culture. These two people were once a duo known as Too-Phat in the early 2000s before they split up. They are living legends who transformed Malaysian HipHop/Rap scene and music from being an underground music with rubbish, vulgar and inappropriate lyrics to a more high-class music with lyrics and content that Malaysians can actually listen and take lessons from. They have really set the standard of Malaysian Rap music so high and inspired many younger musicians and rappers to pursue in this music genre. Malaysian Rap music nowadays are very different from the standard US Rap music and also Rap music from other countries who follow similar style and content from the US. Of course, I know that US Rap music have progressed too but it is not the same as the evolution of Malaysian Rap music. I feel that Malaysian Rap music can make everyone on this Earth to like listening to our songs without understanding the language, like the K-Pop phenomenon. Keep on exploring!

These guys produce hip hop song with great message in form of their lyrics.... Their rap line in amazing(they spit fire🔥).... Their music is the most honest and relatable music I've ever enjoyed...
