This one feels more real than the others; it seems that Derrick is talking more in depth about his feelings, particularly his negative feelings, and Rick is the perfect for such a situation. I say that because Rick is seamlessly able to resonate and flow with what Derrick is saying and where the conversation is going. He seems like a great conversationalist and quoting him "it's easier to like somebody who really accepts himself, because it's less work for me." Which I think Rick has got it down to a T. luv u derrick

Thanks Derek for acknowledging the blatant racism towards Indians rn 😭😭 can’t go a day without seeing hateful comments towards random Indians, especially in Canada
@aleks-335 ай бұрын
It's crazy. I'm latinoamerican and I notice it a lot. 😢
@oui26115 ай бұрын
some of it is not racism. some of it is culture clash between native canadians and foreigners. don't get the 2 things mixed up. It happens in Japan when foreigners come to visit. You're welcome to criticize it there not so much in canada.
@elucified5 ай бұрын
@oui2611 is either blind or ignorant... As an Asian person, I absolutely can confirm this is happening. Examples can be found all over r/askTO and r/toronto of people constantly blaming Indian immigrants about all and any issues under the sun. Ridiculous.
@BananaMuffins9925 ай бұрын
@@oui2611 I say this as a black Canadian, the racism towards Indians right now is really bad. Just cause you personally have not witnessed something doesn’t mean it is not other people’s experiences. Unfortunately, people were always comfortable being racist towards Indians like Derek said but there has been a large influx of Indian immigrants lately and the general Canadian public does not like it nor are they hiding it…

Derek, I don't think your last episode did "bad". Purely in terms in numbers, I can't deny it, it did bad, but this episode meant more for me than other episodes did, and I would bet other people felt the same way. It was really meaninful and interesting. Yeah, the title wasn't as "catchy" or "click-baity", but please don't take this as indication of quality. Long term, I think this is helping you more than you think it does. It is amazing to get Rick Glassman on your show, but part of why I like the Library Show is because of the guests you:ve had in the past. The blind guy, the girl missing an arm... It's amazing to see their perspective on life.
