Who'd have thought that thread and ink could look so similar? Blended together in perfect harmony, it's as if the adeptus was standing right there, gazing upon that mountain before your very eyes.

Time, dedication, and patience are the main keys for any great artworks. Let’s all agree it’s 100% better than AI Generated

AI will ever be able to draw better than humans, because AI can only draw in a certain direction and humans are different, they can create countless paintings of all different genres because humanity's imagination is limitless
@armanke13
@armanke13 8 ай бұрын
Disagree, it's not better, they're different and can't be compared directly. Like apple and orange. Like photos vs painting. People in the past worried photos will kill paintings, but that didn't happen. They can argue the software engineers who write codes to build AI are also doing art. Art of code. Art of building software. They also pours time, dedication and patience into their art. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Btw, Genshin itself is handcoded. The stories are handwritten probably using computers. The cel shading is generated by some smart game engine software, etc. Genshin is definitely an artwork.

Genshin was the reason I started taking up calligraphy and 国画, they let me connect more with my grandfather who I only ever really connected with when I was much younger. Hoyoverses use of culture and history is so inspiring and its impact (no pun intended) on me is something I will never forget.

Once I saw “Genshin” and “embroidery,” I clicked so fast! I *love* embroidery painting, but somehow I didn’t know about Gu embroidery. I’m in awe! I’d love to learn more about it. I’m so inspired to create fiber art based on Genshin even though I know I could never create something as intricate and beautiful as this 💖

Chinese People are incredibly Talented, The amount of hard work is respected from my side! My first impression, my jaw dropped This is true talent, If she sells it i'd be down bad buying those with care! Genshin has improved so much..I am very proud. This harmony of the adeptus.. nostalgic moments from the archon quest.. we were so hyped for Liyue, i'm quite astonished how Genshin is right now that i never though it would be now. Keep it up HoYo! convey my regards to the Devs and Team!

I'm happy that a video game company like Hoyoverse is upholding traditions for many variety of cultures, Sumeru, Inazuma, Liyue, Monsdadt, Fontaine that transends to real life. Thank you for making such wholesome stories and lessons for us, Hoyoverse. I loved your Lantern Rite, Moonchase, Windblume. (Collei and Sucrose Windblume storyline made me tear up. First ceramics, now this. I'm sure by version 5.0 Hoyo will manage to get us excited and amazed with a documentary about the rice plantations of southern China, which I've seen only as an expression to describe the most boring and unexciting things ever. Another craftful masterpiece of China's culture that Hoyo shared with us, making us feel inspired and thankful for traditions, even if they're not our own. Meantime in America people want to shamefully erase everything their ancestors built. PS: As someone whom family business is a small thread factory, I'm stunned by the thread splitting technique. It's so damn hard to work with threats entirely, imagine splitting them in average 48x and working with them without breaking it, it's insanely skillful what these women do.

As someone who also does hand embroidery, please let me emphasize that splitting a thread over 30 TIMES is so masterful that it’s unheard of. You’d be threading a needle with a string that’s half the width of your fingernail. 😱

To the Genshin lore, the Streetward Rambler (also known now as Madame Ping) is the believer of handcrafted music. She was once argued strongly against mechanical instrument that can create melodies, that she said the sound produced is not music because it has no soul. It was a some kind of mechanical bell that was created by Guizhong. Story of Streetward Rambler vs Guizhong: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmKycoGtj5dsrdk 5:53 The analogy is apparent. Handcrafted vs machine embroidery. They're very different.
