In this video, we explore the charming village of Folgosa da Madalena, a place known for its beautiful landscapes and rich traditions, including the annual Pilgrimage of the Sheep.
This event brings together shepherds and their flocks in a unique cultural celebration.
I have a deep love for Portugal and truly appreciate its rich culture and traditions. A big thank you to the people of Portugal for preserving such beautiful heritage!

Her name was Shika, she is my neighbor's dog (the one that gave me the vegetables) unfortunately Shika died a few weeks after I filmed it... She was still a puppy, only a few months old, apparently she ate something bad and died 😞 If you want it could be 😃 but I also give you the possibility to choose any stone in the house, even the biggest one and I'll dedicated it to you 💕 I hope one day we will share a drink, sending you much love my dear friend 💌

I am just wondering after using all that cement or I think it's cement or concrete in the walls of your building how are you going to deal with all the dampness that that cement will create in your walls? I am not being a jerk to you but everything I watch on stone houses and repairing them and renovating stone buildings, they say not to ever use cement or concrete because of the dampness that it creates, because the stone walls have to be able to breathe, so they use lime. I'm just wondering what your plans are to fight that moisture retention and mold? You have a beautiful location there! Love seeing Laura in your videos too! Loved the part about the traditional shepards in Portugal!

I have a dehumidifier that I run almost everyday to keep the moisture at bay here in PT. Before I did that, mold & mildew grew - in a new build! The Atlantic mist covers most of PT. Plaster, concrete, stone, it all holds moisture. It’s best to be proactive. But Osher won’t be able to do that until his home is “sealed.”

Hey Lee all good? I was trying to find the smiley face in your text but I couldn't 😅 So, I am working online, from home, 9 hours a day 5 days a week, therefore, I don't have a lot of time to work on the house and produce the videos.. my videos are a bit funny but trust me I'm taking my project very seriously, I'm doing what I can with the time and (very important) the budget I have, but for me the process must be fun. Playing? If having fun or consuming Portuguese culture, seeing friends from time to time consider as playing, so yes I am 😁 I do live in Portugal but I'm not always there, sometimes for 3 mounts I'm away (like now🤫) I think you should watch all my videos and maybe you will have less questions, but if you do have, it's totally fine, feel free to ask, but be a friend and drop one smiley face 😁 All the best Osher 💌
