I changed the title of the video. I verified with her again to confirm which tier her college falls under, and I also checked on Google, which indicates it's a Tier 2 college. So, updating to the people barking here that I uploaded this video due to likes or clickbait. From the start, my intention has been to guide on how to apply to top tech companies through off-campus channels. Let me clarify one more thing: Being in a higher tier college only seems to help with on-campus placements. Other than that, I don't see much benefit in top-tier colleges. If they don't guarantee placements in top companies, then what's the point of joining? I confirmed that except for a couple of companies, none of the well-regarded companies or FAANG companies visit her college. I don't quite understand how being in a so-called Tier helped her with placements. She found her own ways to succeed in life. For me, if a college can't provide good placements or isn't performing as well as other colleges in the same tier, then that college should be considered lower tier. Before making noise, it's important to understand the facts.

And "cant provide good placements" , Average placement around 15 lakhs and median package around 13 lakhs, college is famous for gsoc crackers and its coding culture, fir aa jaate tier 3 bolne, karliya karo research thodi bhai, atlassian nahi aayi tumhari to bas tier 4-5 kuchh bhi kardo.

May be atlassian go to that college. Let me check with her she said opportunities less for her college. Tier doesn't matter if you are applying offcampus. Always no teir. Also if i am into click bait by now I might gain many subscribers. That's no my cup of tea..i also asked her she said yes. And many people are saying same thing I pinged her if it's tier 1.5 or whatever I will update the thumbnail to offcampus

Anna in off campus also will they consider cgpa as i had less cgpa less than 6.5, i can't increase it because i passed out and also will they consider only new grads for sde-1 role or 2021,2022 pass-outs are also fine for cracking sde-1 roles?

Tier will only help to get on campus placements apart from that I didn't see any use of getting into top tier colleges if they didn't guarantee top company placements. I am ok with Tier Infinity 🤣 if they say I need to try outside to get. Regaring Atlassian Currently I have only Atlassian connections. Amazon almost har saal aayi hai, google cloud aaya hai microsoft bhi aayi hai.Tumhare hisaab se tier thodi decide hota hai lmao, jao site pe jao college ke udhar stats dekhlo aur batado kaunse tier 3 college me aise stats dikhenge.
