I'm amazing how many people are seeing the video after such a short time. I wanted to reply and thank all the comments earlier but was on a short vacation before DT. And for any kind viewers who want to stick around I will be trying to make more stuff as the initial release of Dawntrail pans out. I'm planning to do a reaction video of the dungeons and trials with my friends as we'll be doing the MSQ together. After that I'm not sure what my plans for the future are as I still am not quite sure what I want to make on this channel. I will continue to do 14 content when I feel I have something interesting to make but also want to step my toes into other games I love and perhaps Let's Plays if I feel confident enough in my personality and abilities. But for now I hope everyone enjoys Dawntrail and has many amazing adventures in the new world!

I've been playing this game since 1.0 and I have shed so many tears, processed countless of emotions, and made unbreakable bonds with new friends over the many years. This game is beyond "just a game". The artistry in story telling and music and community are so incredible. This video made me tear up and smile and reflect on my own journey for the upteenth time. Thank you for sharing your story. Stay safe fellow Adventurer, and may you ever walk in the light of the Crystal.

It truly is more than a game and I wish I had spoken more in depth on so many topics but the video would be hours long and I wanted to release it in time for the end of EW as tribute to the game, the community, developers and my friends. I am glad my words could give cause for reflection, and hope you enjoy Dawntrail!

The lines from this expansion that stick with me most are "Its the little things that make life worth living, dont you think?" and "After all, miracles happen every day, do they not?"

Endwalker is full of powerful and memorable lines. Most characters are given at least one moment to shine which makes it all the better

Hear... The songs created by nature and civilization. Feel... The multitude of sensations life offers. Think... And find your own reason to carry on from without and within. Edit: You know, tjose retrospective videos luke these are not just great to see what others think, but also to offer new impulses to bring thoughts to light. In Ultima Thule, we learn the reason , the answer, of every Scion. Thancred: To live and help others survive. Estinien: To be free from the past and moving past vengeance. Y'Shtola and Urianger: To seek wisdom from all around all worlds. G'raha: To learn the stories of many heroes and spread them so they may inspire new ones. The Twins: To pave the path for a brighter and better future.

FF14 has made me think about life. Has given me many new friends and some that just leave suddenly. I have enjoyed being with many FC's and also had a great time with the story so far. I need to get to play Dawntrail as thus far all I have done is get the new jobs. XD The game itself didn't seem at first to draw me in. A streamer friend had been playing it and convinced me to try it. I knew I had been gifted the game ages ago, just the person was doing it for just getting the mount and at the time my computer couldn't handle the space for it. Also the computer I had was starting to run slower so that didn't help. I tried it and at first I had to try Dragoon. that was the starting class I had on my main. She was a Miquo'te (later I changed her to Elezen) and named her after my first D&D character I had. I really loved meeting people, hanging with a co-worker at one point, and just having fun. Not realizing that the game would become so much more than when you start out. When you talked about the people you met along the way. It reminded me of my old FC. Brought a tear to my eye cause I will miss the old days. The group that moved over to Oceanic servers cause they lived in Australia. They are a fun group to hang with and all, just the FC they had (and is rather dead even in dawntrail) has been a husk of it's former self. The old FC house has changed and it is not as whimsical as it once was. The parties and amazing hangouts there. So many memories that I had for the FC. It's been fun so far and I dunno how much longer I will be playing this game, but I will keep adventuring and meet new friends along the way. :)

I rarely comment on videos, but I gave this video a chance after YT had it on my front page as a suggestion, and I can really tell a lot of passion went into making this! I think anyone that has played FFXIV can say it has had a strong impact on them in some way, and I am no different. I enjoyed your personalized anecdotes of your time playing FFXIV as well. I hope you enjoy Dawntrail along with everyone else! :)

It's wild to think my little video could appear as a recommendation. Thank you very much for the kind words as I really put my heart into this and am glad it shows through even my subpar editing and script. I hope you enjoy Dawntrail as well friend and continue to have wonderful adventures!

Hey there. I found this video in my recommendations, and I found it really moving. Life can be hard at times, and there's no shame in feeling how you feel. Something you said resonated with me, about how the most tragic thing you've ever suffered was the loss of your dog (apologies if I'm missing the correct wording). I've often felt as though it isn't my place to comment on my personal troubles when people I know have it so much worse than I do, but they have thankfully proven very loving and supportive, and I'd like to pay that forward. Your experiences are your own, for better or for worse. What "should be" doesn't have to equal "what is." Feel what you feel, take joy where you can, and accept that your sorrow is your own, and all of your feelings are valid. To use an example from today, a lot of people say "The Acolyte sucks, it ruined Star Wars," or else, "Brie Larson is a horrible actress who ruined Captain Marvel." And if I decide, "Well, I like those things and have no problems with them," then that's perfectly fine and entirely valid. And I remember losing my own dog years ago, and how horrible it made me feel. Others told me to just get over it and move on, but I couldn't, because he wasn't just a pet, he was family. Please, don't let anyone else tell you how to think or how to feel. Be yourself, and let that be perfectly fine. And thank you for sharing your message with all of us. Stand tall, my friend, and may your journey never end. ^_^

I started ff14 back in September. And beat it in may. And my god what a ride this was. This is imo, the best final fantasy story ive seen. Some of the best written characters ive personally encountered. The way they make you actually think and question them. Like Emet. I hated him to begin with. But at the end of SdB, I understood him and no longer hated him. By the end of the EndWalker, i genuinely felt bad for him. "Remember us. Remember that we onced lived." When you see the truth of the past, the stuff that's happened, etc, it changes your perspective. When the final scene with Metion came up, I straight up cried. I genuinely felt bad for her. Despite knowing what the mateia did. There's SO much i could say about this game. But to summarize it- it's just beautiful. Hearing Answers in the beginning "man this is Epic" Hearing answers after beating EndWalker "crys in the corner" And remember, a smile better suits a heros face.

The game is very beautiful in it's dialogue, messages, art and music. All around it's one of my all time favorite games and my favorite multiplayer game. I'm happy to hear you caught up just in time for Dawntrail and hope you enjoy many more years of adventures!

this video made me cry, every single word struck home for me. thanks for this, everything you said meant a lot. I started playing in post Shadowbringers and played the story from start to finish, doing all relevant content to make Endwalker reflect all that we as players have done. May the sun continue to shine for us all as we forge our paths ahead 🙏

Just wanted to drop a comment to say that Depression strikes at anyone, whether or not they feel they've earned it, or "deserve" to be depressed, it's an insidious illness. I'm so happy that you sound like you're doing better now! Stay strong, and remember, you are so important, so unique, and so needed in this world. When the darkness closes in, reach towards the light, and if you can't see it, reach towards the many, many resources available to you to help you find it

I am doing much better than years ago, though I don't think I made it very clear I no longer think quite as much that I don't "deserved" the feelings I felt. The people around me have made me see that in part I hope anyone who needs to hear that from another can hear it from my words and comments like yours. Thank you for the kind words and hope you enjoy Dawntrail!
