Think I did better than most today, very little rising, the old faithful Dogs Bollox never fails me up there.

@@James-fshr depends on the day really, two days never the same. Dogs Bollox always catches fish, green or black buzzers pulled slowly, Damsels, dry Hawthorn at this time of year if the fish are rising. Always best to ask on the day what’s catching, the regulars up there are very helpful, or ask bailiff Ian and he’ll keep you right.

@@James-fshr🤭😂generally fish the DB on the dropper about 18” from the point fly, and fish a big dry fly, like a Sponge Hawthorn or a Deer Hair fly on the point, anything too small gets dragged under by the DB which is quite heavy.

Hi mate, were you fishing the pink dearhare as a dry? And how deep were you fishing the bogs dollox?

I was, only had the one hook up on it, but loads slashing at it and missing! DB was around 2 foot away on the dropper.
