Kwanzaa is a beautiful Pan African cultural celebration for seven days. I have been celebrating Kwanzaa for twenty-eight years in London. Kwanzaa is our Pan African cultural holiday socially, politically, spiritually, economically & culturally 100%..

I find this strange and privileging that in East Africa Kenya that a people once were in touch with their roots. Shout-out Dr Sabi. God is all y'all, like if you agree!

Nobody in Africa celebrates Kwanzaa. It's a made-up Holiday by some black American.

Dombé, a PanAfrican Festive Celebration!!! Partial announcement and presentation of Dombé, a celebration of PanAfricanism of Festivities by Dr. Bamba(S.C.), H.c. The prefix "Don" (Dom) in Primary Mandé means Dance and party and the suffix "bé" means big. Dombé has 10 Principles based on the 10 Commandments of Conservative PanAfricanism which are as follows: 1. Believing in one Supreme God. 2. Believing in the Spirits of Nature. 3. Believing in Ancestor Spirits. 4. Believing in Afro - Optimism. 5. Believing in Actions for Moderation and Modesty. 6. Believing in the Worship of God through the Ancestors and Spirits materialized by appropriate Idols. 7. Believing in a Job Well Done in Morality. 8. Believing in the Practices and Preservations of our Major Cultural and Linguistic Heritages. 9. Believing in Humanism, Goodness of All Kinds and Not the Contrary. 10. Believing in Just and Equitable Laws in Phase with Our Socio - Cultural Paradigms. The Celebration takes place over 10 Days, from the 1st Commandment to the 10th in the respective order of the 10 Commandments. For its beginnings, the Celebrations will be more or less in the Forms of Wishes, written and / or oral presentations or presentations, Presentations of Videos and / or Audios and others all adequate to each Day relating to each Commandment. At the moment, the dates are flexible given the African (Kamates) and Diasporic contingencies. For this reason, the dates of December 24 to January 2 are currently selected for Our Virtual Celebrations for this Year 2022. Happy Virtual Dombé Celebrations from Dr. Bamba(S.C.), H.c. Strange how Maulana Karenga (born Ronald Everett) made up Kwanzaa as an alternative to Christmas, which he says is a “White holiday,” when Ethiopia was the first Kingdom to adopt Christianity as its state religion.

Why is this not on tv in 2022? I thought people said they want equality, seems like it's just political games

Not interested in kwansa, I will stick with Christmas.

People may think it’s a modern holiday, but the concepts behind it is more ancestral, historical and cultural.

Can white folks celebrate Kwanza? Or is that considered "cultural appropriation"?
