Any discussion tends to devolve into vulgar language related to sexual organs, and this situation is no exception. Whether it’s discussing sex work or fabricating stories about it, the intention to shame the other party actually reflects poorly on oneself. It highlights personal indecency, the low status of women, and cultural conservatism within China. Only in such an environment would people become accustomed to using women as a topic for humiliating others, similar to how the Boxers used to arrange obscene symbols (such as female nudity and menstrual waste) on city walls to “counter” Western firearms.
