A Legacy of Service: Police Officer Joseph Vigiano

Detective Joseph Vigiano was one of the 23 members of the NYPD who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. His sons, Joseph and James, continue their father's legacy of service to the City of New York.

He graduated from SUNY Maritime in 2015, so perhaps he could progress through the department ranks and eventually make brass, as could his brother Jimmy, who graduated from St. John's University in 2016.
