Put carrier bags over your boots as you climb in the cab 😊 I used to do that when winter caravan cleaning in the mud lol

Not a bad idea actually.... think I'll try that one
@HughzieTube6 жыл бұрын
Buy a cheap door or car mat to put on the floor to stand your boots on when its muddy. You can roll it up and put it in the storage when you don't need it and its easily hosed off when its dirty.

Nice new camera angle with the gear change in! You ever get to any of these drops and you can't get in to unload? Some seem pretty tight! (I remember Russell getting to one site and they told him no artics (wagon & drag only right up until they realized how much they needed the load) I think it was the same video he had to moffet it all off himself. At least tomorrow is OBF !!!!!

Yes it is... I'd lost track. I've never been not able to get in but have took a load all the way down to Cornwall and brought it back because no crane....
@paullee66636 жыл бұрын
That really must be a PITA !!! At least you didn't have to wait around 4 hours for them to tip! And....you got a nice run down to Cornwall and got paid !! Don't sweat what you can't do nothing about mate I always say! Hope you have an early finish this week... I think they owe you one after last week! Have a great Bank Holiday weekend mate... I'll send you the bill for my tip to include the gear change! I see someone else already commented that it's a good angle!

Morning CJC, when you have a load as high as this last one. Do you simply measure the height of the load when it is loaded on the trailer. And do you alter the reading in the cab to match every load. Just in case someone else ends up taking that trailer? Cheers cocker, drive safe! ✊️
@steamfreak16 жыл бұрын
We measure it when hooked up to the trailer. Most routes don't have low bridges on tbh but I still check some of the high ones to be sure....

Those 45mph drivers get on my nerves , along with the ones that seem to be incapable of out accelerating a 44t artic away from a standstill, and of course the ones that are joining from a slip road, are ahead and going faster in front, so all they’ve got to do is literally move across, but look in their mirror at the end of it, and because you’re not half a mile away... brake, realise, yeah they are actually in front, so move across and slowly pick up speed totally oblivious, you’re doing your level best not to rear end them, because YOU can’t move across because you’ll sideswipe somebody else, and to add insult to injury once you have a gap to overtake and pull alongside, down goes their loud pedal. Because they think they’re Gandalf... YOU SHALL NOT PASS!! Sound familiar?
