A Lesson on Tolerance

When people reject us or our message, we are never to act with an attitude of vengeance. Jesus teaches us to move on and keep sharing elsewhere.
When the disciples were rejected by the Samaritans, they saw it fit and acceptable to call fire down from heaven to destroy them. They believed that Jesus would back their request. Jesus, instead, rebuked them, and encouraged them to move on.
Tolerance with people who do not see things the way we do, is a virtue much needed in our society.
