Seeing the old dirt track makes you tear up. Change is tough, getting old is tough. There’s nothing like an excited, young mind

i was in middle school at aptos jr high when post office was torn down. I never rode there, but I still wish I had skipped school to see those last laps ridden before it was taken down

SO good! I've had the pleasure of chatting with Ryan on the trails a few times. I'm an old dude, but he's always really nice and down to earth. I didn't have the skills to ride the Post Office Jumps, but I was there on the last day. Super sad. I was glad to see in the film it captured Connor (I think), a young local shredder, taking some dirt from one of the jumps right before it got dozed.

I'm an old guy that found a passion of mountain bikes late in life. I own two KHS bikes. a mountain bike and a hybrid road bike. Beer is my next favorite thing, ok and a little herb. 805 was introduced to me by the guys at "Deadend Worldwide" video crew. Thanks for posting these videos that help inspire folks to become someone.

You need to try some California IPAs like Made West, Topa Topa , Institution hit up Trader JOES . FIRESTONE makes some good beers but 818 is not one of them.

I love how Ryan drives that little old Toyota instead of a big stupid truck like the rest of Aptos. I lived and dug and rode there for twenty five years. Ryan is a true Gem. I have a photo of me doing a toboggan at the old De La Viega jumps that a friend took and in the background you can see a teenage Ryan in his first Troy Lee helmet running/pushing his bike back up to do another lap.

I think I’ve watched this film more than any other mountain bike story. Ryan is an amazing rider, and story teller. The production crew behind these 805 beer films is insanely talented. Props to all of you!

It was around the time when I picking up mountain biking more serious! I always wanted to go visit there when I was in high school! Never did! Just remember watching a lot of those pinkbike videos! Good vibes days to get some motivation riding! I remember it was the jam session then sea otter weekend! Just sucks they took that place away! Today would be even better! That’s the thing about life! Where it all started for us! And meeting are buddies out there!
