A Letter to Mom ᴴᴰ | Mother in Islam *Emotional*

A Muslim mother has a valued and dignified role. Her contribution is acknowledged and appreciated. Her unparalleled gifts to the child have been aptly described by Imam Zaynul `Abidin (a) in Risalatul Huqooq --- The Chapter of Rights.
It is the right of your mother that you should appreciate that she carried you [in her womb] the way nobody carries anybody, She fed you the fruits of her heart which nobody feeds anybody. She protected you [during pregnancy] with her ears, eyes, hands, legs, hair, limbs, [in short] with her whole being, gladly, cheerfully, and carefully; suffering patiently all the worries, pains, difficulties, and sorrows. Till the hand of God removed you from her and brought you into this world. Then she was most happy, feeding you forgetting her own hunger, clothing you even if she herself had no clothes, giving you milk and water not caring for her own thirst, keeping you in the shade, even if she had to suffer from the heat of the sun, giving you every comfort with her own hardships; lulling you to sleep while keeping herself awake.

i love my mommy so much she does everything for me and my older brother and sister even though my older sister is married she still does things for her my mother is not in good health yet she takes the time to tend to me and my needs above what my brother and sister needs are i have special needs because im autistic and have mild intellectual disorder so my mommy helps me a lot i am thankful that i have a mommy like her and i hope that Allah will bless her with many things. sometimes i feel like a burden to her because i have special needs. Right now I'm causing my mommy to cry not by my own fault but she got told by the doctor that I'm very sick right now and there is nothing more that they can do. Please pray for me and my mommy

I am not even a muslim but this is really beautiful and proves that there is a lot of ignorance in the West when it comes to Islam and the Prophet. I really like the way Islam teaches Muslims o treat parents with respect and love. Islamophobes judge Islam very undifferenciated and allways mention the same things like he had many wifes, young wifes etc. but fail to mention that Gandhi and Goethe praised him for treating the poor people very well, that he took care of orphans and that he was trustworthy, gentle and honest etc.

Jemo Mal May Allah guide you. Here are some verses how we shoulder treat our parents. And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small." Your Lord is most knowing of what is within yourselves. If you should be righteous [in intention] - then indeed He is ever, to the often returning [to Him], Forgiving. -Surat Al-Isra', Ayat 23-25

no matter what happens brother. she is still your mother, never ever disrespect her. always show her love. if you want to get married then do it the right way. you dont need to spend thousands to have a wedding. make it a simple, with a nikah and waleema. you need 4 witnesses. 2 on each side. try to speak to an imam or community leader and they may be able to help you to get married, perhaps even initiate the marriage. hope it helps.but please remember to always seek help and guidance from Allah

Can people please help me, i am very hot headed and when my mum starts an argument out of nowhere i get really angry really fast and get really emotional and feel bad really fast, its repetitive cycle and im so fes up man, were so miserable when stuff like this happens and i always repent to Allah for the way i raised my voice over my mother and the way i disrespect her in some times, i let her down so much but i always repent, because my relationship with Allah is close. I always seek forgiveness from ya raab and then my mother. I always since the age of 9 prayed to The Most Merciful to remove this from our personalities but its an ongoing cycle.

the word fight has different meanings, you can also fight using the tounge it does not always have to be physical. now let me say a quote from the bible Matthew 10:34 jesus christ said ' think not that i am come to send Peace on earth: I came to send peace but a sword' now christians will interpret the word sword not as a physical sword, rather its metaphorical language reffering to the tounge so why must surah 9:29 ONLY refer to physical alteration and not matthew 10:34?
