Honestly thank you for this video and all your other videos on English language. I struggled a lot with understanding occupation and language (since we covered it briefly in lessons) so this helped me really understand it and the ways we can use the different theorists in potential essays. THANK YOUUUUU you are a life saver, what are the chances of finding a KZbin who does 2 out of the 3 same a levels as me ! I'm am in year 13 doing philosophy and english language a level, I'm not sure if u did child language acquisition but I need some help on that subject spoken and written as-well the theorists and how to develop points because I am aiming for an A and if possible A*. Also did u cover language change over time and if u did could u do videos for each of the centuries . I would be SO grateful .x

Hi Ben, when evaluating if it fully influences the language it uses, could you use other factors (age, gender, ethnicity etc) to disprove the theory?

I think so!! As long as it's as an evaluation point and you then link the paragraph back to the main question! I use PEEREL: point (about q) evidence (support point) explain (your point) respond (eg with a point about another factor that should be considered) evaluate (your evidence) link (back to the question) good luck!
