i don't see how you can argue that the DSM is over simplistic in terms of environmental stress. when does it ever suggest that stress is limited to dysfunctional parenting?

It is't the DSM that is over simplistic, but rather the idea of the original diathesis-stress model. The whole concept of 1 gene + environmental trigger (dysfunctional parenting). Similarly, It isn't the DSM that mentions dysfunctional parenting, again it is Meehl and his diathesis-stress model that suggests dysfunctional parenting is the environmental trigger.

Yes that's right. Just highlighting the fact that vulnerability is far more complicated that just being the result of a single gene.

you technically only need 3, but its recommended to do 4 to gather the most marks possible. it is possible to gather all 16 marks with 3 peels as long as you include a lot of detail and information. if you can only remember 3 points, you should just try to write as much as possible on these points, rather than forcing yourself to come up with an arbitrary 4th point.
