As an indian, I am ashamed that the arrangement were so bad in Calcutta for such a renowned artist like Farida Khanum - and the lady who introduced her was terrible and unprepared, reading from a crumpled handwritten page - a more senior person with more preparation should have introduced an artiste of the stature of Farida Khanum.

You are correct. It seemed like a hasty programme. They should have had an interactive session. It could have been a wonderful event for us to cherish for a long time. Opportunity missed. But still a good documentation. Long live Faridaji. God bless her forever.
