Elitism or how to Eliticise basic commoners practice or lifestyle.... Any way at least some practical stuff is going on that is the best thing about it and not just theoretical nonsense like communist talk about... Sometime I feel elites often appropriate commoners good or best practices and make it elite and sometime capitalistic.... Then very same people from who elites appropriating find it difficult to find their own place... Yoga is best example of this nonsense... Same with Tantra... Hatha yoga practised n developed by nagas etc who often ridiculed and laughed at ..... Tantra practitioners seen with suspicion sometime get beaten and often terming the practice as superstition and what not.

I do agree with you. However as per my personal experience here I think they introduced some really good and practical values to people who didn't grow up in that environment. At best I believe they're not appropriating but taking inspiration
