To charge the extra battery, you need to connect it to the main battery. You can't charge the extra battery alone. The solar panel on the light truck is 200W x 2, and the total 400W is connected in parallel.

They should make it so you can charge it separately, or offer a separate charger for it. I've seen other external battery's that could be charged separately and also chained together, to make one very large battery bank. Here locally, (In state, but about 7 hours drive away) I have a surplus dealer who is selling used solar panels, if I was able to drive up to Dallas, I could get used 48v 500 watt panels for about 170.00 USD or 26,880 JPY each, if I bought a minimum of 3 panels. Do you have anything like that in Japan so that you could upgrade your generation amount?
