As a musician, this scene always makes me miss being on stage and just annihilating the strings on my guitar. It’s so well made, it really encapsulates the feeling that being on stage gives you, no matter how small the gig is.

Dude same. I felt the same way encountering this mission. I used to be a preforming musician and damn do I miss it sometimes. I do all in studio now, but watching this really got to me. Made me wanna jam out to some punk again.
@NKA23 Жыл бұрын
Exactly my thoughts about that scene. I used to be in a rap crew, we were relatively successful in our home region in the late 90s and early 200s, sometimes we played in front of crowds of 800-1000 people, but most gigs were way smaller with crowds of 100-300 people. Today I'm a stage actor and I enjoy the creative process of working out a theatre play even more than creating music, but no theatre performance could give me the same rush as being on stage performing music in front of a crowd of people who really enjoy my band's shit did back then. I often still miss my band, even though we broke up in 2005 under very, very unpleasant terms and I wouldn't want to work with those dudes ever again.

Yeah. CDPR said they’ll eventually fulfill their promises. If they do, the game will be one of the best ever made. However, I don’t expect that to happen for at least 3 years…

@@centralscs Personally I don't think so. Even if it gets the fixes it needs, the story was too rushed and I can't see that getting fixed. The only part of the game that was truly fleshed out with choice and consequences was the Maelstrom gang stuff in the 1st Act.
@ValidatedPerson3 жыл бұрын
@@eddyspeddy And endings were fleshed out aswell all of 7 endings are memorable and well thought out none of them seem out of place for V. Also the secret behind them is cherry on top how to reward you as player and gives you RPG feel...Soundtrack is kickass especially on Morro Rock radio with Mike Pondsmith podcasts fleshing out the story. The city has a distinct feel even though its just a window dressing this city is memorable just like Empire Bay was in Mafia 2. If the game wasnt released on the older consoles (which to be frank those systems were outdated in first place) game would be recieved by public much better. I rather take unpolished gem like Cyberpunk were ambitions cost them many mistakes than overbloated shit like AC Valhalla. I really love how Denny (drummer) stands up in playing the last parts of the song, and how Kerry (vocals) is moving around the stage, just feeling the song/performance. It really captures that on-stage feeling of playing in a band and just having a rockin' good time along with the crowd. I miss the feeling of excitement/anxiety/anticipation right before the show, and right before starting the song, and then having it all wash away after a few moments after starting when you've found your groove on stage and just really getting into it :')

best scene in the game, and one of the big reasons I can actually agree with the choice of "everything in first person". so glad I played this on PC, bought it day 1, over 1k hours in game, and only a couple consistent bugs, limited mostly to t posing in vehicles and some calls never hanging up. i mean my GF got it for ps4 and it was bricked outta the box, so the great fuck up did happen; but on PC it was pretty much good from the start.

On my first playthrough, when i saw this scene I really thought that he plays legitimately the song. After learning the song myself I can confirm it. That's insanely impressive if you ask me. The game overall is, despite its quality, the single best game I played for a decade. One of the best in my life. For someone who played over 250 to end and around 400 overall, it's insane how it let me forget anything in my life when starting it. To be fair, the game when it was launched where not that worse than now, which makes me wonder why it's image did such a u turn, but honestly it doesn't care. Cdpr diserves respect for doing such a project in a time where the industry is broken and worthless
