12,300 units for the US, but also the same amount for EUR and Asia. Still limited, but I guess everyone just cares about the NTSC version lol I'm definitely using mine if I get one. What would you do if you don't, buy another pro!? That's ridiculous amount of spending, but to each their own. I just feel people that purchase it should be to collect or have the joy of experiencing it. Screw the scalpers!

Actually, you have 0.0199% chance from the total of PS5 owners, if all would want to buy this Pro limited edition. That's how much chance you would have if all 61.8 M PS5 owners would want one of the 12,300 units. Haha. Never happened 😂

Everyone has a chance but very hard one. I actually got two of the PS4 Pro 500 million console it it released and there was only 50k of those and I got two so there’s always a chance but this one is even harder.

i made my launch ps5 into a ps1 themed console when i first got it with spray paint and decals, apart from the grey which is maybe a bit too dark. I like my design a bit better !!!!lol

higher cost items of this nature typically don’t sell out within seconds, if you have the bread and try right when it’s released it should be fairly easy to cop

I hope they will release 30th anniversary side plates for PS5 as well. I will try to preorder this limited edition. I grew up with PS1. But I highly doubt that I will be able to get anything from that lineup. Maybe DualSense. I managed to get at least DS4 when 20th anniversary came out. And that was a different time. Scalpers didn’t have bots buying out all stocks.

PlayStation 30th anniversary should have released pro system with disk drive & edge pro controller $600, standard ps5 should been lowered to $400 (I don’t even like this pricing but would understand do to inflation), what sony is actually doing is pushing long time OG PlayStation customers like me away from buying their product with these ridiculous prices and limited quantities

If it's selling for 4-5000 that'll be a good reason not to get one. Another reason I don't wanna get it is b/c the games aren't actually on the discs, and if u don't download the games onto a hard drive u won't be able to preserve them in the future. Plus, nobody is gonna be opening their pro version, so there'll be 1000's of sealed pro's, kinda like there's so many sealed 20th ps4's. I think the 500 million ps4 pro is more rare sealed. I just know it's gonna be laughable when the scalpers try to sell this 30th edition. Also, have to mention this...u wouldn't be able to resell the 30th ps5 for 4-5000 b/c the ppl that would want it wouldn't be able to afford it. If u bought it at that price, u just lost about 2-3000 on depreciation.

If they do not want the PS5 Pro because of the price then why are they upset at the manufactured scarcity of a limited edition version of the PS5 Pro??

This to me proves that the heads of PlayStation have no common sense. What’s the point of this “special edition” if the people that want it the most won’t be able to purchase it? Thankfully Etsy or Temu will probably provide alternatives to this release. But it’s still frustrating how this anniversary will exclude regular collectors from the party.
