Can you say with absolute confidence that the valve closes because a backflow of blood due difference in pressure between left ventricle and the aorta occurs? And that this backflow causes at the same time in the waveform the dictoric notch?

As long as there are not valvular abnormalities, then this is normal physiology

@SalimRezaie just a small follow up, if its possible. The backflow and dicrotic wave is attributed to the difference in pressure but also to the passive elastic recoil of the aortic wall?
