The intensity in the mothers deep amber gold eyes as she emits those low grunts and snarls is captivating, I don't quite know why it is that I am so fascinated and drawn to Lioness's, I feel it could be awe at how tactful, clever and powerful they are when stealthily seeing out a hunt, to then seeing these incredible apex predatorial killing machine being ever so gentle, attentive and protective toward their cubs. This interaction was wonderful to see. Grandmother checking up on her own 'babies' as they preside over their own little ones.The fathers are doing their best to prove themselves it seems, they seem to understand that the nomadic attack has put the lioness's on edge and the reception would be all but a hostile one had they chosen to directly approach which if they really wanted to, they could, however they have chosen a safe distance, beautiful boys too, I do wonder if this is the same Mohawk that was sadly shot a few years back near a local village? it caused quite a controversial uproar (no pun intended). I may have to watch the series Big Cat Country and find out for myself.

Idk why but I seem to fall into the hole of watching nature documentaries at least twice a week and once I begin I can't stop

The biology/ hormones are slightly different in male and female mammals and its a survival method for the species, imo. Without females protecting their babies to the mother's own death, the future continuation of the species would collapse.

Yeah especially if you were to depend on a male, useless in every species

First time Mom? That makes sense. My mom was a nervous wreck when she first had me. If that lioness is anything like my mom she's probably going to yell "MOM!" whenever the Grandmother is near by and the cubs are causing trouble!

Its wonderful to watch these beautiful cats within their own habitat, no cages, or bars in sight. Momma is most definitely protective of her cubs.

As a father of two of my own Cubs I whole heartedly felt this video clip by clip I know exactly how those male lions felt and all with custody battle !
@rene37592 жыл бұрын
No you don't. They weren't upset or angry they were relaxed and being considered of the mothers and the cubs. After all of instead of projecting your personal human experience you had an understanding of lion dynamics and what happened to this pride you'd know that they weren't upset but trying to build trust after failing to protect the pride and these lionesses and cubs in particular.

i'm a woman and even if I was a dude what does this have to do with being a white knight. If you do not know how to use terms properly rather be quite and think before writting.And i belive people should be corrected from projecting human feelings and ideas onto animals as it has and does create harm in how animals are treated and viewed and because it creates problems in human behaviour when they try to recreate other animals norms in human society (ie the modern alpha male epidemic, misconception of wolves and misinterpretation of their behaviours and the scientific research on them literally create a drove of psychopaths promoting their psychopath ways onto young impreccionable men which has and is still creating harm).@@codymoe4986
