If so, I hardly think it’s a competition, and people dissing Kylie’s talent is nothing remarkably new.. people have been doing that for about 40 years and she always takes the high road and proves them wrong with a smile. I hope she's proud of all the songs on the album, because it's banger after banger. I think Tension II is more solid than Tension I. Sure, T1 has Padam Padam and Tension, which are iconic, but it has a couple of songs that are good but not as great, and compared to T2, I think the new album itself has fewer / no fillers. Except for that collab with CountryPop influences, which a lot of people like, but it's not my style. The other 12 songs are bops.
