But none of my colleagues could take me over from the checkout. That was very bad. Sometimes i can't even inject Insulin (with a pen) without a interruption from a customer! So good, so touching. EVERYBODY can relate to this song in one way or another. I love songs where the lyrics are so emotive and personal that you feel as if you’re reading that person’s diary. A true artists needs not to put on an act or a front to perform, but just connects so deeply to their craft/loves what there doing so much that they are just immersed in it and it shows. Those are when you get the true emotions.

I was sick, tired, nauseous, & with blurred vision because my blood had turned acidic. Diabetics go through hell trying to regulate their levels with medication, insulin, exercise, diet, etc. it’s not an easy disease & you’d be shocked at how many diabetics spend lots of time in the hospital bed-bound. Manda Panda I cried reading this. I am 19 with Spina Bifida. I was number 17 in the world to have Inutero surgery. My back was also open. I just had surgery November 29th, 2017 to remove what was the result of the surgery. It was this huge fatty lump tissue on my back. I also have been battling anxiety and depression since I was in 5th grade now I’m out of high school. Spina Bifida has been a challenge. I hate it. I walk with a limb. Walk like a chicken/penguin. I’m a little overweight. I have been bullied since kindergarten. It’s really hard. This comment described me 100% and I got the chills reading this knowing somebody has the same exact thing as I.
@noetapia16036 жыл бұрын
I have spina bifida as well, and have a few friends with it as well. I think the fact that we all know for the most part what we feel having to live with this gives some sort of comfort. It's something that doesn't have to be said or talked about to know exactly what it feels like and that we will more than likely never overcome the emotional toll it takes on us, but it is nice to know that there are others out there who understand that. As many low and bad days we may have, it's so important to recognized and appreciate the good days. We are beautiful people!

Although this song is about his struggle with diabetes, I can relate to these lyrics a lot. I struggle with bells palsy, which is a nerve disorder that can paralyze half of your face if you don't take care of it. When I was first diagnosed, I would look in the mirror and see a monster. I felt so low. Now, years later, I still have those insecure days. So thanks Nick Jonas, for this song, it helps me push through the pain.
