Dude! Lost? I knew exactly where you were as soon as I hit play. But those roads back there will get you turned around, for sure! Looks like a fun day out! 🎉

It was blast! I had a pretty simple route planned, but closures made things a bit more complicated. haha

Would love to see a video where you show off all of your customizations. Like how your bike looks but hard to see it all. Thanks in advance bro!

Did you install the suspension yourself? Curious if it’s something I should tackle?
@MOTOSCOUTtvАй бұрын
@@MrKingJavo I did the rears myself, but I did not do the fork cartridges. I did not trust myself to do it correctly.

Beautiful videos! I’ve been thinking about this bike for a couple of years and my only concern is its size. I’m 6’3” and it feels tiny. Can you share your height and thoughts?
@MOTOSCOUTtvАй бұрын
5"9'. It's a small bike for sure, but I have a friend that is about your size that rides a Royal Enfield 650 and he love it. Sure, it looks a little small on him but he rides it just fine. The ST will have plenty of power for you, the only thing you will probably want to do right out of the gate is suspension. The factory suspension is not great especially for bigger riders. You can also get a new seat that will raise the seat hight a little bit, and maybe some bar risers. Unfortunately there aren't many naked classic bikes that are much bigger than the ST. But I think there are ways you can make it fit your body type a little more comfortably. It's definitely doable.

@@MOTOSCOUTtv Good stuff! Thanks for the info and looking forward to more videos. Would love to see a video where you show off your ST more than just riding it.

@@MOTOSCOUTtv and are the they reliable?
@MOTOSCOUTtvАй бұрын
@@daurip_augustin622 I think I paid somewhere in the ballpark of 20k after all the tax and license and all that (I'm in Washington so tax and license is wild). As far as reliability - It's no Honda. But it's also no BMW or Ducati. It probably wont run forever without some diligent TLC, but it also won't leave you stranded. The only downside is when it does break, it's expensive to fix and not the easiest machine to work on yourself. Parts are not the easiest to get here in the US either. But, you see how I ride it, and the places I like riding are rural and desolate. Im pushing 15k miles of spirited riding and have never had an issue. But I take care of it and do pre-ride checks every ride. The only time I've been left on the side of the road was because I high centered on a beat up road and ripped the side stand kill switch sensor off and there is no way to bypass it. But thats careless riding and no fault of the bikes, other than an annoyingly vulnerable sensor. All that to say - It's not cheap. But it's a magnificent machine that will take of you if you take care of it.
