A little bit of muck spreading (Puma 240)

Not my greatest work... but just keeping you guys in the loop about what ive been up too :)
I do intend to do a proper video of the manitou's at some point, showing you all the controls and how to operate them :)

It belongs to a company called Thorpe farm machinery, we used to have contractors spread all the manure but were doing it ourselves now.

I’m a farmer as well. Why cannot the loader manufacturers make a system so it always puts bucket in same position so bucket is always perfectly flat on the ground?

Hi jonny what cleaning products do you use for cleaning your tractor as I have seen them hanging on the door on the fent 1050 as I use John deeres 6210R but getting a fast track 4220 the tractor get dirty as do chicken muck 4 days the week Always watch your videos when they come on I am always keep the tractor clean All the best Russell

Another great video Jonny, Dont worry about the double chin when you hit 40 you just think sod it and enjoy life. I remember some advice i got when i left school and started contracting and struggling to reverse trailers in tight places. I was told if in doubt get out, thats stuck all these years, i know say it myself to young lads save them bending something

Can't beet a Bunning, we have one to for the chicken muck but we are very spoilet with way cells and auto spread ..... set the rate and it dose it for you with a optimum working monitor and GPS , can't go wrong 👍 PS all I'm saying is JCB , I'll just leave that there 😉🤣

Hey Jonny. As always that is a lovely video despite the smelly fact of the content not being so lovely... LOL. I know I'm not a regular commenter but I never miss your videos. You do a great job of creating immersive content. How you position the camera, how you narrate what you are doing and how you manage to capture the best angle all the time... These all make me feel like I'm the one doing the job. Especially with the Manitou in this video. I don't think I can get closer than that to operating a telehandler other than you know doing the actual thing. Anyways, thanks again for the great job. Hope to see more content mate. The Kramer telehandler, formally claas, does have a return to dig and a boom in and out function. Good bit of kit, 4.2 tonne lift capacity. Quite a big machine mind. Cracking video's keep up the good work 👍

Yes you did James! Very well spotted mate! The people who own that spreader told me to use the drawbar instead of a hook. Not exactly sure why, I’m guessing they maybe like the extra clearance a drawbar gives. I didn’t question them, just said “ok that’s fine I can do that” Il have to ask next time I’m there out of curiosity

Hi George! I do when I’m Spreading cow manure. But the chicken litter is so light, fluffy and well composted, it’s difficult stuff to control without holding it back a bit. It’s so light it doesn’t tend to put much pressure on anything. Cow manure is a completely different story for how I set the spreaders up, it’s heavy old stuff and holding that back will soon wear things out like you say. Cheers Take care mate :)
