I’m on a bit of a budget and want to buy wisely so do you have any suggestions about which powders to get first. I must admit I do have a passion for turquoise and am not a pink fan. Just gorgeous! I LOVED the ultra high just sprinkled on and heated! Had no idea you could do that and it looked just like snow! Very awesome! The added sparkles topped it right off perfectly! The second card is something I have never thought to do and was a great reminder. Use the bigger florals in the corners! I don't remember if I bought enough sparkles, it seems like I did not. I do have glitter, very fine and beautiful, but not in the colors of embossing powder that I bought. I may need to put that on the someday list. I could only wish to do my 35-40 Christmas cards that fast and easy with such beauty! It takes me a good 2 weeks working many hours each day to do them. Just finished 14 Thanksgiving cards and it took me 5 days at about 5 hours each day! I did get my chrome precision plate and it was perfect for such a steal of a price! $26 on Amazon everyone! That's half price everywhere else! Marion, do you use it for everything? I have the new big shot switch and it works great, but I have a very hard time feeding my stack of plates in that thing. It doesn't want to grab them well at all. But I wondered why not use the precision plate all the time if it works so well and my favorite part is that it isn't supposed to get all cut up. I m always ruining metallic cardstock because of the bottom plate! Someone said put a piece of copy paper over the plate where the paper is and not the die cut and it works, but my brain doesn't. I don't remember. LOL. Beautiful cards as always! Thank you!

Thanks so much Denise, the glitters you have will work perfectly. Don't beat yourself up on how long something takes, we all work at different speeds. I do use my precision plate for everything, I probably shouldn't but hey !! If it works it works !! ;) so glad you liked the cards. xxx

Can you recommend the Catherine Pooler inks? How do they differ from oxides?

Oh I definitely recommend them, I have every colour 🙈🙈 I prefer the pad to the oxide pad, they’re very juicy, when blending with them they take a little while to ‘go into’ the card and look messy at first, then all of a sudden they look smooth and fab, I love the colours, they’re water reactive, and you can emboss with them if your quick. But at the end of the day it’s all personal preference, I use both, but mainly use the CP ones. Oh and I love direct to paper with them xx

Aww thanks, I have the opposite problem, I’m making loads of videos and not watching any 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ultra high is bigger granules so you get more of a raise, not recommend for sentiments though 🥰🥰🥰

Hi, it’s WOW’s version of UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) it’s a bigger sized granule, I absolutely love Ultra High, the white is great for snow and beer froth, clear gives great texture, I hope that helps 🥰🥰🥰
