Biggest problem with lighthouse is the spawns, i saw a dude trying to show a fix for it, expand the map basically from schaley down to eastern road extract, and put the spawns as is, but put those that cling to eastern side right now got put into the expansion. So that it is easier for everyone to move around. That is one way the can at least make it better. But they really need to fix something about the spawns.

@@krofnoops I've never once died in glass hallway. As soon as you spawn full send it towards office hugging the wall where the boxes conceal you and just jump out. Never go towards forklifts in that spawn insta death Then I just camp behind the concrete pillar things at gate three

@@zazzy8786 Isn't that what i said tho? Its basically a vr clone of tarkov. When I said it was fairly well done, I just meant that it runs decently with relatively few issues. Its probably the best VR clone on the market, ive tried a few. Unfortunately VR tech is still in its infancy, so theres all the issues that come with that.

On the topic of other extraction shooters there was this one called The cycle frontier. It worked really well in tandem with tarkov since the gameplay was completely different, it was way more arcadey, visibility was a non issue and there were no random one shot head shots that you couldnt react to. Devs were aweful though and tore it to pieces.

Going off of the extraction shooter talk: Dark and darker is doing pretty well atm. They suffered major setbacks due to the legal issues with Nexon and not being able to publish the game on steam, yet they're holding strong. And they've only barely started getting content like quests in as well. So it's possible to make a "featureless" game work, ya just gotta have the right hook for people to bite on.
