Nice fur we don’t have many mink around here the damn otters that the state released around;12 years or so have laid a hurting on mink, muskrats & trout,bass ect they are fun to trap & beautiful fur & when I was able to trap I never caught a mink in a box set or pocket set I caught all my mink in blind sets usually step banks or small feeder streams!!! The Mink population here seems to go up and down with the Muskrat population. I think my best year was 12 or 13 Mink. I've caught just about all mine in box sets over the years. They sure are a beautifully furred animal. Thank a lot Rick. I hope 2025 will be good to us!

Trapping is a lot of work. Many people don't realize how much. A Mink rug would be beautiful! I'm thinking I should get one tanned for my collection. Call them free range mink. Years ago there used to be lots of jackrabbits around. Dad said they'd go out jackrabbit hunting at night and it was nothing to get 40 jackrabbits. And they'd sell them to a mink farm up in South Dakota to feed the mink. Anyway Happy New Year's

Trapping here is strictly regulated by biologists and the province. No shortage of Critters here. Sounds to me like government in your area isn't doing a very good job. All the best to you in 2025!

@@thecamocowboyoutdoors5693 i'm in Canada and live in the forest i see all these videos of trappers and hunters high fiveing each other while they slautering wildlife for sport showing no respect for the life they took or even know what that animal goes through to survive in todays world back in the 60s %70s people made a living hunting and trapping now it's just a blood bath for sport, Sad real Sad same to you have a great year maybe tell the people that you care we lost 75% of the worlds wildlife in the last 50 years
