My granfather worked here in.the 1950's....fell down a pit shaft but luckily a shutter stopped his fall....good job or i might not be here to write this lol 😅😊

It is very lucky lol my grandad worked there in the 70's and early 80's I believe after moving from sunderland, I bet your grandad went back to work the day after lol
