you totally made me sock obsessed I’m currently knitting the cosmic flow socks that you’ve also made and I bought some sock blockers because you really inspired me to get a nice pair for myself

I appreciate you speaking English in your videos ofc haha but I just love the Dutch language! I find it sounds so cozy and warm ☺️

Haha Dutch really is a special language although usually it's never described as cozy and warm haha, people tend to think it's quite harsh lol

Ey, I'm from France and really enjoy to watch Ur videos while knitting. Just starting it and really happy to discover and learn this art! Also, 50-100€ spend on yarn and relative is not so much I think! A lot of people spend the same money on tabac or other poison stuff! Personally I'm really glad to have quit theses things and to be able to spend more on creative materials! Good energy from the Alps! Thank you for your videos and you shiny energy! ✨

It was so great to see your happiness when you got to open the package! 🤩😊 Love the yarn and I can't wait to see what projects you'll knit with them 😊 I'd love to see how you knit with different yarns (I think it's called colorwork?), because I just can't get it right .. Maybe that would be a possibility in the future 🥰

I'm the same, increasingly find it easy to just buy another sock yarn because "oh well I always make socks and will use it eventually..."
@lisasknitclub2 жыл бұрын
Yes I always give in to my sock yarn addiction haha. But on the other hand, it usually is only one skein so at least it doesn't fill up my yarn stash too quickly.

I recently bought the Socks Yeah! yarn in the DK weight, and it feels so lovely and soft! I haven't knit socks with it yet, so I hope that it'll be a durable yarn, too, so I can buy more of it, lol. I was born in the USA, live in the USA, and my first language is Spanish.

I got myself the Chiaogoo shorties set last year and love them (but agree with you that the pouch is not pleasing to the eye--although not as bad as other Chiaogoo needle pouches/cases!). I'm also newly sock-obsessed, so I'd love a sock video to give me more ideas that'll use up this sock yarn 😂

Haha yes some of the other cases look even worse! A sock inspo knitting video is coming soon :)

Also as an American I gotta say I’m so jealous that you’re from the Netherlands! It’s my dream place to live but there’s so much that goes into moving to another country. But American is not for me anymore, one I’ll make it! It’s so beautiful there!
@lisasknitclub2 жыл бұрын
Ahh the Netherlands definitely isn't perfect either! But it's interesting to hear that many Americans would prefer living in European countries (like the Netherlands). As a kid here you grow up with so much American tv shows and pop culture that the US seems like the best place on earth lol.
@knitwit28712 жыл бұрын
@@lisasknitclub oh I’m sure it isn’t it seems everywhere has it’s fair share of good & bad! I think for America a lot of people are over the government 😂 it is beautiful here in some areas but my heart has always been attracted to the Netherlands! It really is interesting to hear where everyone is from & not particularly loving where we live but others wanting to move here lol

This was such a fun haul thank you for sharing 🤩🤩🤩 I'm really thinking about getting the Lykke needles at the moment so would love to see a review! I have the addi click metal set at the moment, but would like a wood set as well. I know the Lykke have quite a different tip, though - the actual point is quite a big shorter than most needles I've tried, and I would love to hear how you find that effects your knitting when you use them?
@lisasknitclub2 жыл бұрын
Ahh good to hear! Yes I think I will do a review once I've used them for a couple projects :)

I bet your wallet hates Myrthe now 😆 Now I really wanna get the Lykke needle set, I’ve had them in my cart just marinating there for a while because I’m trying so hard not to spurgle on those beautiful needles 😍. My self restraint is hanging by a thread at this point 🙈
@lisasknitclub2 жыл бұрын
Haha yes my wallet definitely doesn't like Myrthe but she has such good taste lol. The Lykke needles are so worth it, just gorgeous to look at but they are so nice to work with as well.

Hey I’m from Korea! ☺️ We are only 50 million (counting only South Korea, there is no internet in the North…) but there are so many new knitting KZbinrs in Korean very recently. I do think English videos attract much more views tho 🤔 I was thinking of getting Lykke but got Takumi from Japan instead. If you want very sharp, light wooden needles, highly recommend! 👍

Hi Lisa! Maybe it's a dumb question... You said that you'll soak the cable in hot water -- why? Does it make it more flexible or something along these lines? :D
@lisasknitclub2 жыл бұрын
Not a stupid question at all! When you get your cables they are very curled up which makes them quite annoying to work with. So if you put them in hot water for a minute and then use cold water and straighten them out, they stay that way. You can't do this with all types of cables tho because some have glue in them (and hot water would destroy that).
@alyonal.26282 жыл бұрын
