You said as an advice that we should translate these conjuctive adverbs to know their meanings, but as you know a word can have many meanings, how do I know the right meaning that is used for transition? For instance: BESIDES it can means EXCEPT FOR and it can mean IN ADDITION. What meaning I should go with. You may say that I should look for the meaning that is restricted to the field in which the C adverb is classified, well there is some conjunctive adverbs that are classified in more than one field for example: FINNALY it can be classified in the field of ADDITION or SUMMARY... how can I deal with this? If you have a list with the most common conjuctive adverbs with the meaning if each one, that you might be willing to share, I will be thankful.

I got you so clearly Qassim. Well, what I meant by looking them up in a dictionary or translateing them is only to have an idea about the words you are learning. MOSTLY, words have several meanings and the meaning a word conveys depends generally on the situation / context you are using it in it.

'still' is a conjunctive adverb. Mr, if still is used as a conjunction without semicolon(;)/comma(,), May it be true grammatically?

Still is also an adverb. If it appears in the middle of a sentence, put it between commas. You have got to respect its punctuation

Thank you a lot my dear bro. I appreciate your appreciation to my efforts ;) =====You can use them in all writing, but not necessary in everything you write. If you have just started to write in English, do like I do: Write in SHORT sentences: Subject Verb Object = Ahmed eats an apple FULL STOP. Good luckkk!

@Nozha Bouzman Generally speaking, put .when you complete a sentence. You can use ; to link 2 sentences if they are related to each other( John like the beach; he enjoys swimming a lot. )

@@nozhabouzman4636 Don't keep jumping from one course to another. Go back and study the basics. Don't go to any other course before mastering the previous one. Take your time. Don't hurry. Take all the time you need.
