terrific story of Jesse Haines. I live in the Bronx....and my Uncle Charlie Marto....born @1916...lived about 3-4 blocks north of Yankee Stadium...off Jerome Avenue. Charlie and his younger brother Eddie would delivered bootleg beer to that Murderer's Row and the other Yankees players and staff...and often got into games for free.

I cannot imagine living life in those huge beautiful homes! I personally cannot wrap my mind around it! I wish it were possible to go back in time to observe life then, compared to now. Sigh... Jordan, please thank your family for letting me in to their lives. Your holiday has become my holiday. (Ours was filled with loss of loved ones this season) Much love to you all! ♡

Wow 17 years! 5 World Series, including a home run, etc... Such a career. Thank you and your cool grandfather for seeing that he and his career is remembered. So cool that it was so close. Grandpa's got your vlogging back for sure! Thank you for sharing. I've never been to Ohio before. (Love seeing the winter snow from here in 90° Florida)

I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but I'm finding out more about my hometown than I ever knew. I've seen the Dunbar house, but don't remember if we actually went inside. I'd never even heard of Hawthorne Hill, believe it or not! I did recognize a lot of the places you showed while driving around Dayton and the vicinity. My brother was born at Good Sam. Can;t wait to learn something else new tomorrow. Kudos to your Grandfather! Thanks again. Keep up the good work
