A LONE WOLF Journey to Find the BEST Gun in DayZ

In today's DayZ adventure, we journey solo across Chernarus in hopes of finding my favorite gun in almost all shooter games, the AUG. In my interactions with other survivors in game, many have told me that the AUG is the best weapon in DayZ, so I wanted to try getting one for myself.

Just found u. One of the biggest reasons I don't favor solo content is the creator seems to think they have to nonstop talk. U seemed focused and it was intense. Also u are lucky AH!! Knocked out over and over and not finished😂 Hope u make more content bro

Just found your channel like many others lately. I really enjoy your content. It scratches my itch to play DayZ when I can't on work nights and I can live vicariously through you lol. It would be cool to see you play Namalsk. Also have you tried hitting zombies in the head with a melee weapon? I noticed you go for body shots. Sometimes the head can kill them quicker.

Thank you so much! I've been thinking about trying more Namalsk, I've only tried one short life on there and it felt very unique compared to the other maps! The only time I've try going for melee weapon headshots is when the zombies have vests on, I should probably go for them more often haha 😁

It's a mod called DayZ Editor! Idk how it would work on a server, but I usually just run it locally and it allows me to get some nice shots like that!

You're exactly right! I only noticed that after another comment pointed it out haha. To be honest, I was in a rush to loot it and get out of there and I already saw the ak74 and m70, so I didn't think to check the ground 🤣

Thank you! For M16 ammo, you need 5.56x45 which is found in military areas! I would try checking some military bases or tents, or even just kill some military zombies, sometimes they drop ammo packs!

Yeah, making all that noise definitely was not necessary, I just really wanted to actually shoot the gun a bit after finally finding one! Maybe making some bottle suppressors would of been a smart idea for stealth in hindsight haha. This was actually only my second time using a LAR, and the last time I had one, I didn't get to use it at all because I had no ammo. In this adventure, I found a few mags around Tisy and a ton of .308 ammo on one of the guys I killed, so I ended up using the LAR a bit as well, and it felt great to use. I didn't realize until after making the video and hearing some other opinions that it was also such a strong gun! I'll have to try using it some more. @@crew5333 thats just your opinion. 60round supressed aug is much much better than a 20round lar that cant be supressed IMO. Maybe if you compare it to a 20round unsuppressed aug,then sure.

You're not tripping at all! There totally was one there that I didn't notice on the floor haha, I still wasn't 100% used to the dropping guns on the floor mechanic after coming from Tarkov 🤣

@@scholarcormier Then why did a pair of NVGs spawn with the NVG headstrap (9:50) at NWAF? NVGs only spawn at helicopter crashes, has to be modded to some degree.

@mariusventure8430 I didn't know that about NVGs! That's good to know! I'm assuming they can still adjust certain things about the game like loot rates and day/night cycle timings without any installed mods since the server doesn't require any mods to play on!

@@scholarcormier oh okay, sorry for assuming you knew, but yes, all Z's de-agro after a short amount of time, they never used to, then they made them be able to de-agro, but it would take quite a while, then they shortened the time it takes to de-agro, though in saying this, I've been on some modded servers where they don't de-agro at all,
