The Garden looks do pretty. We have reverted to typical Scottish Weather overcast and pouring with rain all day but lovely to be cooler outside. Inside tho still a ridiculous 24°. Grumpy arrived safely back with stories from Dublin and snoring away with I could not believe it a hot water bottle 🤦‍♀️ Roo has trotted off to his dad's bedroom....bliss I have no Roo on my bed....just coming up to midnight so time for a cuppa. Oh just like my daughters house under a flight path some of planes look like they will take roof off house, I love watching them amazing how after a wee while you do not notice them. Have a good week

Hi Dormouse, I bet grumpy is feeling the temperature change. The first two nights we were away I was freezing in the night. It was so hot here yesterday we didn’t do much until after 6pm. It was a lovely evening though. You’re right you don’t notice them so much after a while but the DHL are so loud. You notice them when you’re trying to film the garden. 🤬😂😂😂🥰😍❤️😘👍

I need to plant more stuff, definitely need to do potatoes and cucumber, I think there is going to be a shortage of root veg so need to be prepared. It's a big learning curve. xxxx

Yay! Garden tour 👍 Always good. That was a blackbird, by the way, Graham. Merlin app time 😂😂 Today, sweltering, I planted nine tomato plants running along a fence that faces due west (The back of the house/garden faces due south). The fence is warm all day, when it's sunny, past tea time and into the evening. I'm copying Victorian walled gardens.

Hi Philip, when I edited I thought it was a black bird 👍 I use the Merlin app sometimes, another golden nugget you’ve told me about mate. When we were in the caravan there were so many song birds. One morning a song thrush sounded unbelievably good. I had to use the Merlin app then. The victorians were good gardeners so you can’t be doing wrong. I had problems with blight on my outdoor tomatoes. Thanks Philip 👏👏👏👍

Welcome back! Garden is looking fab. Anyone watching would think John was 70 🤣 Your Hot Lips 💋 is looking good. Mine had been in a pot since last year, so it was suffering a bit. I've planted it properly now and its starting to look better. Think I'll take some cuttings from it this year. My strawberry patch never produced much previously so this year I left it and it's really overgrown. The other day I found loads of fruit amongst the long grass. I think they have been well hidden this time from the birds. They were beautiful, macerated in balsamic vinegar and sugar with a sprinkling of black pepper. Is Wendy planning on making something with all yours? The Tumbling Toms I have outside have got yellow leaves too, but all the others are ok. My cucumbers are coming along nicely too, but so far I've only had fruit from the Diva plant. We've had 3 cucumbers from it so far and they've been lovely. I chose those because apparently they don't give you indigestion. Must be true, as Mr Misery hasn't moaned yet 🤣😂 I'm sure your potatoes will recover. I never got round to planting mine 🙃💋🍅🥒🌻

@@grahamgetsabout2672 not so good at the moment graham, now waiting for her big op , it will be a long journey, petes ok again hes waiting for an op on his ear for a basel cancer but were all doing ok. the gardens a life saver at the moment swa its looking great so its nice and peaceful out there, constant battle with the slugs. used the beer but they were enjoying it too much, i had a lovely rose in the front garden ,fed it sprayed it and then in the night a deer came and ate all the leaves and the flowers. that will give wendy a laugh anyway. love to you both speak to you soon xxxx

@@sharonbearley3088 it’s a strong smell, we’ve had visitors that could smell it in the house when the patio door has been open. It’s not overpowering just nice. I’m worried we might lose it over winter but we’ve been lucky so far. 🥰😍❤️😘👌

Hi Vince, very hot today. Keep up the fluids and relax mate, it won’t last long. I sold my private jet just before someone sprayed it with orange paint, it was only a status symbol anyway. I’ve still got the helicopter 🚁👍
