If you are looking to visit Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Orange County, or Los Angeles, The Long Beach airport is perfect. The Orange County and Los Angeles airports are not your only options. You can always fly to the Long Beach airport and most likely save some money and hassle. This airport has quickly become my favorite airport when flying home to see family in Orange County and Los Angeles. So, let’s take a look at the Long Beach airport.

Looks like a great airport. I totally agree with you that these smaller airports are such a better experience for families. When our kids were little we flew into Bangor Maine and it was such an easy experience. They had a playground in the airport and the parking was right there. I always think its neat when airports have open air and you just climb down the steps of the plane.

I'm not 100% sure we've ever flown in or out of this airport before. I feel like we should have, but not sure. It's such a nice, small airport. Great tip to fly into Long Beach instead of Los Angeles, I need to do that next time as LA was a bit crazy on our trip to Disneyland haha. Great info on the airport. That's even closer to Disneyland than LAX and I had no idea haha. Great tips!!
